The 2008 Janet Jackson Tour has been off to a rough start . She had to cancel several dates due to what was at the time an undisclosed illness. This was later disclosed as vertigo. There have been rumors about low ticket sales, and Janet Jackson was recently dropped ( or left, depending on what you believe) by her record label. Her last 3 albums have all sold poorly compared to her previous track record.

Speaking of low album sales, LL Cool J has pulled off Janet Jackson's tour due to scheduling conflicts. While LL has a 20 year track record of Gold and Platinum plaques, his latest release has only sold about 80,000 units. Maybe James Todd Smith should look for more acting roles. I'm sure he can make a lot more money doing movies than putting out flop albums and touring with Janet.
